Vom Weltnaturerbeportal geht es Richtung Vareler Hafen am Deich entlang. Nach ca. 1 km führt die Tour in einen Feldweg und anschließend zurück an den Deich bis zum Badestrand.

Die Rundtour startet am Weltnaturerbeportal - direkt am Wattenmeer. Anschließend geht es am Deich entlang über den Nördllichen Anwachsweg in die weiten Wiesen und zurück über den Halbmondsweg an den Deich. Bei einem kleinen Picknick auf einer Bank am Deich kann man wunderbar die grasenden, wolligen Bewohner beobachten - die Deichschafe.
